Frown lines

Frown lines are the result of repeated muscle contractions and the loss of elastic tissue as we age. They can also be exacerbated by sun damage, which rapidly damages the elastic tissue in the skin. With time, these lines become permanently etched into the skin. When the lines still come and go, neuromodulators such as Botox are an excellent treatment choice. Once these lines become etched into the skin, we use fillers to improve their appearance.
